Discover the healing power of massage for you and your horse
I have been a Certified Equine Massage Therapist since 2024, after completing the 1-year Equine Massage Certification course at Olds College, AB. I am always looking for clients, and would love to help you and your horse! I use thorough static and dynamic assessments to see where your horse may be weak or sore, and use this information to provide massage to reduce tension and improve the performance and comfort of your horse. If your horse has been off or is experiencing soreness and tension this would be a great way to help them out! Massage has many benefits and it is a great way to keep your horse healthy and happy.
I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2022, after graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, ON. I have experience working with injuries involving chronic pain, repetitive muscle strain and ongoing headache conditions. My focus is deep tissue, therapeutic massage, relaxation, pre-natal and trigger point work. Massage Therapy can help with aches and pains, sore muscles, headaches, injuries and so much more. I currently work at Century Health Massage in Lakefield, ON.
Massage has many benefits for humans and horses alike. It can affect all of the systems of the body, specifically the circulatory system, musculoskeletal, and the nervous system. Massage can improve circulation, encourage lymphatic flow, increase range of motion and mobility, decrease resting muscle tension, improve sleep, reduce pain, target scar tissue, encourage relaxation, decrease stress, and so much more. Massage encourages awareness in the body which helps in the healing process and it is a great way to take care of the body and mind.
Hi there! I became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2022, after attending Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. After working at Century Health Massage in Peterborough for a year, I decided to move to Alberta to follow my dream of taking Equine Massage at Olds College, while still practicing human massage. I have worked on horses in Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia! Massage is my passion, and I am always continuing to learn and stay current in my field. I have been around horses my whole life and am so happy to be able to combine two of my biggest passions!
I am working out of Century Health in Lakefield ON. Always taking new clients, check out their website here and book your massage today!
